Manual Machinist (Temp-to-Hire)

Location : Houston, TX 77034

Pay : Commensurate to experience - Max $40.00 / hr

Shift : 2pm-10pm  M-F  (must be available for nights and weekends if needed)

We are currently hiring a Manual Machinist  with experience on vertical pumps and horizontal pumps

Experience :

Must be able to operate manual HBM, Engine Lathes, VTLs, Knee Mills, and Radial Drills. Brand should not be a factor. If interested please email your resume to employment@enerstaffusa.com or text 281-282-1300 put MM in the  subject.

Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders to fabricate metal parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or other technical drawings to determine machining operations
• Perform precision measurements using tools such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills :

Must pass background check and drug screen.
