Job Title : Welder

Job Description

As a Welder, you will be responsible for studying blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and setup requirements. You will measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on materials or workpieces, assemble units to blueprint specifications, and ensure weld integrity for functional and leak-free units.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and setup requirements.
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on materials or workpieces.
• Assemble units to blueprint specifications.
• Tack pieces together as indicated on blueprints or for stabilization.
• Weld pieces to ensure units hold liquid without leaks or function properly.
• Pre-inspect units to meet customer and company expectations.
• Complete required paperwork and unit labeling, including stamping.
• Ensure units are inspected by Quality Control.
• Assemble and return paperwork to the correct location.
• Document all time spent on units via the E2 time ticket process.

The work environment has moderate to high noise levels depending on specific production areas. Temperature fluctuates with the seasons. Employees are regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moving parts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairmont, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
