Overview :
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic E-Commerce Site Specialist to drive and scale our global digital commerce operations across Japan and Korea. This role is based in Los Angeles and requires a balance of data-driven insight, regional market understanding, and cross-functional coordination.
The specialist will lead site performance analysis, localization strategies, and process optimization to ensure seamless regional execution and global alignment. Responsibilities include developing and auditing site performance KPIs, managing seasonal site refreshes and product launches, enhancing user experience through data-backed recommendations, and partnering with regional and global teams to deliver localized content, promotions, and customer journeys.
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of e-commerce or digital marketing experience, a deep understanding of Shopify, Google Analytics (GA4), SEO, and a proven ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. Experience collaborating across time zones, managing external partners, and proficiency in Japanese or Korean is highly preferred.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Los Angeles offering the opportunity to influence global e-commerce strategy and operational excellence across key Asian markets.
Performance & Analytics
- Monitor and analyze site / session traffic, page views, style conversion, and organic traffic sources to inform optimization efforts.
- Track and evaluate unit per transaction, return customer %, new customer acquisition, customer behavior across regions.
- Analyze performance by market to inform free shipping threshold strategies, track average order value (AOV) impacts, and identify high-performing SKUs or collections.
- Build region-specific benchmarks and own regular reporting across KPIs to inform growth strategy and guide regional teams.
Strategy & Execution
Site Launching in alignment with the Go To Market CalendarBuild and manage action plans per region that tie business goals to tactical deliverables.Own the development of global processes, workflows, and SOPs for analytics, merchandising updates, seasonal site refreshes, and product launches.Translate data into clear recommendations across site features, search behavior, shipping thresholds, and promotional planning.Research and recommend opportunities in emerging markets and support go-to-market strategies through competitive analysis and digital readiness audits.Create localization action plans to align with cultural nuances, regional behaviors, and infrastructure needs.Localization & Regionalization
Ensure localized execution of digital initiatives, including currency, language, promotions, shipping policies, and UX flow.Collaborate with regional e-commerce teams to tailor website merchandising, promotional cadence, and product hierarchy for each market.Manage seasonal updates and localized campaigns, ensuring consistent execution and seamless customer journeys.Site Optimization & Audits
Conduct ongoing site audits for Shopify performance, tagging, metadata, SEO health, and UX.Identify and resolve blockers in funnel progression, navigation, search, and checkout experiences.Partner with agencies and dev teams to run A / B tests focused on increasing conversion rate, mobile performance, and retention.Project Management & Collaboration
Manage timelines, priorities, and communication across global stakeholders and agency partners.Track and drive multiple concurrent e-commerce initiatives across time zones and functional areas.Create clear documentation, training materials, and SOPs to support scalable growth and knowledge sharing across teams.Cross-Functional & Agency PartnershipServe as the e-commerce project lead between internal teams and external partners (UX, SEO, performance marketing).Align regional timelines with global goals and ensure best practices are shared and implemented across markets.Communicate consistently with marketing, merchandising, logistics, and analytics teams to align site updates with campaign calendars and channel priorities.Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or project management (global experience preferred).Strong knowledge of Shopify, Google Analytics (including GA4), and basic SEO principles.Experience working with or managing external agencies and vendors.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights. (Basic excel test will be conducted)Familiarity with site performance audits, digital tagging, and conversion funnels.Exceptional project management skills; highly organized with strong attention to detail.Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures with a collaborative, flexible mindset.Must be Bilingual in English and Korean speaking or writing.
