Water Law Attorney
Robert Half has partnered with a well-established law firm in Longmont on the search for a 4+ years' water law associate attorney to join their growing teams. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Represent clients in matters regarding water rights, water quality, and water and land-use planning.
- Develop litigation strategies, conduct negotiations, and represent clients in court proceedings.
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of water-related issues, including water rights transactions, water resource management, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients, and interact with regulatory agencies, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and draft water supply assessments, legal memoranda, and other necessary documents.
- Stay updated with all current legal, technical, and legislative developments impacting Colorado water law.
- Conduct comprehensive and diligent legal research to support legal arguments and cases.
Candidates interested in this attorney position should have an active license in good standing with the Colorado Bar. Active license in good standing with the Colorado Bar.Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing water law.In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and environmental law.Proven experience with civil and commercial litigation.Familiarity with land-use planning and lease transactions.Strong ability to manage client relationships and engage with diverse stakeholders.Excellent legal research and document drafting skills.
