A bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) with a focus in Mathematics, Engineering, or Supply Chain. Analytical thinker with creative tendencies. Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and query-based systems. Possess a sense of urgency and attention to detail. High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, most importantly Excel. Ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and often with time conflicting pressures. Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively in a team environment. Experience in creating and publishing reports and / or access to reports on a timely basis. Experience working in Tableau / Power BI (or another data visualization software). Experience working with route-building, load-planning, or TMS-based optimization software.
Supply Chain Engineer
This position requires an analytically focused individual who is eager to study and take part in supply chain projects for BlueGrace customers. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of work experience in a supply chain engineering or analyst position. At this stage, Engineers will be expected to tackle a large variety of projects for customers and potential customers. This individual will frequently find themselves working with extremely large data sets, collected from a variety of sources. They will be required to normalize and diagnose this data, and then identify potential customer solutions.
Duties and responsibilities :
Someone in this role will find themselves spend most of their time in spreadsheets, rating programs, and other types of data management tools.
- Querying shipment data from multiple systems.
- Rating shipments with different rating softwares.
- Managing data sources to support dashboards.
- Auditing contract accuracy.
