Location : Mission Hills, CA

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 AM – 05 : 30 PM)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

General :

Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of physicians, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging results. The role includes preparing and maintaining sterile fields, assisting during procedures, and managing equipment setup and vascular closure systems.

Required Experience & Skills :

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Proficient in setting up and assisting with complex vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, including :
  • Angiography (abdominal, renal, pelvic, mesenteric, selective visceral)

  • Embolization and chemoembolization
  • Stent placement and angioplasty
  • Paracentesis, thoracentesis, and liver biopsies
  • IVC filter placement / removal and cavograms
  • Genitourinary procedures (nephrostomy, ureteral stent, uterine arterial embolization)
  • Skilled in equipment setup, room circulation, and maintaining a sterile field
  • Familiarity with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
  • Proficiency in Epic charting system (required)
  • Strong knowledge of radiation protection, contrast administration, and procedural safety protocols
  • Certifications :

  • Required : BLS, ACLS
  • Environment :

  • Acute Care Hospital (Magnet Facility)
