Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT experience for a variable shift position requiring call in Texas.

Responsibilities Works in the Operating Room of a hospital setting

Handles surgical cases including General, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Trauma, and ENT

Pediatric experience is preferred

Variable shifts with options for 3x12 or 4x10 schedules, rotating days off, and call responsibilities

Call is required as part of the weekly schedule

Schedule varies weekly with no guaranteed set days or block scheduling

Uses Cerner EMR, Cerner experience is preferred

Must be flexible with schedule as shift and workdays will vary weekly

Holiday coverage may be required during the assignment

On-site drug screening is required before starting

References and relevant certifications must be provided prior to employment

RTO (requested time off) must be submitted for consideration

Cerner charting experience is preferred

Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required prior to start (pending accepted at time of consideration)

BLS certification required

Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT surgical procedures required

Pediatric OR experience preferred

Must be able to work variable shifts including call

Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
