About The Position

Description :

The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities.

The RN conducts diagnosis and treatment of human response and advocates for individuals and families.

The RN ensures compliance with all standards of practice and professional development as per the Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, delegating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.

The RN serves as a primary nurse and / or accountable nurse when designated by unit assignment.

The RN utilizes a working knowledge of pharmacology to administer medications safely.

The RN shares responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization.

The RN complies with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.

The RN participates in and supports nursing governance and quality improvement initiatives.

The RN engages in professional development and completes all mandatory education requirements.

The RN integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice.

The RN provides a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.

The RN adheres to organizational values and performs other duties as assigned.
