Qualifications for Mammography Technologist Jobs

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist

Active ARRT certification or equivalent Radiologic Technologist credential

Experience with Epic charting system preferred

Ability to complete Healthstream modules (pre-start and during orientation)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compliance with facility onboarding and travel healthcare requirements

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures following established clinical protocols

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction during all imaging procedures

Document procedures and patient information accurately in the Epic charting system

Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care

Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mammography equipment to ensure optimal performance

Participate in orientation and ongoing training modules as required for travel healthcare staff
