Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 19 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, evenings Employment Type : Local Contract Job Title : Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer Facility : Lincoln Hospital Department : Radiology Diagnostic Location : Bronx, NY 10451 Schedule : Full-time | 40 hours / week | 8-hour shifts | Monday–Friday | 4 : 00 PM – 12 : 00 AM Contract Duration : 13 Weeks Job Summary : The Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries. The technologist will operate radiologic equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and facility standards. Key Responsibilities Perform general radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols. Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Operate radiology equipment to capture diagnostic images of designated body parts. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Ensure radiation safety measures are observed at all times. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure quality patient care. Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of imaging equipment and work area. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer . Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred. Education Completion of an accredited training program for Radiologic Technologist , including military training equivalents. Certifications & Licensure Required : Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) . Valid New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) license as a Radiologic Technologist. Preferred : Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification.
