Is this you?

You’re meticulous with electrical details, confident with Hi-Pot rigs, and at your best when diagnosing low- and medium-voltage equipment. If so, step into a role on our Motor Control Center team in Wendell, NC within Siemens’ Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit.

What you’ll tackle

  • Final QA on MCC sections and power distribution assemblies (switchgear, switchboards, breakers).
  • Nondestructive testing per specs and drawings; pinpoint faults and implement corrective actions.
  • Accurate reporting : inspection results, quality records, and test documentation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Wirers during test and troubleshooting.
  • Active participation in EHS practices and continuous improvement.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors / Management.

When you’ll work and pay details

  • 1st Shift : 6 : 00am – 2 : 30pm | $24.79 / hr
  • 2nd Shift : 3 : 00pm – 11 : 00pm | $24.79 / hr + $1.00 shift differential
  • Must-haves

  • 1+ year testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
  • Demonstrated precision in final inspections.
  • Experience with test equipment, including Hi-Pot.
  • Comfortable reading schematics, layouts, and wire lists.
  • Basic English proficiency (read / write / speak).
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
  • Nice-to-haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
  • Trade schooling or certifications in residential / commercial electrical.
  • Tools you know

  • Electrical schematics
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Hi-Pot (high potential) / high-voltage testing
