The City of Norfolk's Parking Division operates over 19,000 public spaces located in 14 garages, 10 lots and more than 500 on street spaces.
Supervises personnel and operations. Maintains facilities. Performs installation and repair of structures. Cleans basins. Installs and repairs fire hydrants, water lines and valves, and wastewater and storm water collection system structures. Performs and directs street maintenance to include asphalt / concrete repairs and operation of construction equipment. Performs other duties as required.
Essential Functions
Education / Experience
Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, or technical processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency. Required : Two years of experience.
Additional Information & Requirements :
Valid Driver's License required. Certification in a vocational trade(s) is preferred but not required.
Work Schedule : Friday - Tuesday, 3 : 00PM 11 : 00PM, 40 hours per week, Occasional Overtime.
