This position completes compliance inspections for the General VPDES Permit of Discharges of Stormwater from Construction Activities (Construction General Permit) in accordance with agency inspection strategies, policies and procedures; assists with informal enforcement actions and makes recommendations for formal enforcement actions; reviews Soil Erosion and Stormwater Management Plans and Construction Record Drawings; ensures plans for nonexempt land-disturbing activities are designed in accordance with regulations and sound environmental principles as covered by the Construction General Permit; and conducts local program reviews for conformance with the Virginia Erosion and Stormwater Management Act. This position may also serve as a primary point of contact for implementation of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program; conduct compliance inspections and audits of MS4s in accordance with agency inspection strategies, policies and procedures; assist with information enforcement actions; make recommendations for formal enforcement actions; and review program submittals.
Hiring Range : $57,733-$82,042
