We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a healthcare environment and excels at providing exceptional patient service. The role requires a proactive approach to administrative tasks and patient coordination, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities :

• Verify patients' medical insurance coverage and eligibility to ensure proper billing and payment processes.
• Coordinate prior authorizations with healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed.
• Manage patient scheduling efficiently, including appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations.
• Welcome patients and visitors warmly, ensuring all inquiries are addressed with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate and organized records, including updating patient information and medical histories.
• Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately while managing front desk operations.
• Assist in processing payments and managing billing inquiries from patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming for patients and visitors.Little Rock

Requirements - Previous experience in medical insurance verification and prior authorizations.
