Responsibilities

As the Medical Pod Leader, you will be the clinical leader responsible for the performance of your clinical pod team. Your role will include :

  • Supervising assigned APPs and Physicians, ensuring compliance with collaborative practice agreements.
  • Participating in ride-alongs with APPs to enhance collaboration and support.
  • Leading high-risk huddles and ensuring comprehensive care plans are documented.
  • Conducting chart audits and providing guidance on patient care questions.
  • Reviewing quality metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with various clinical team members to foster a team-based culture.
  • Participating in patient care for high-risk or complex patients as needed.
  • Assisting with compliance and HR resolutions.
  • Conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions for direct reports.

    • QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Active CPR Certification
  • Active Medical License

    • Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 1 year of experience at HarmonyCares Medical Group
  • Board Certification
