Essential Functions

As a House Supervisor, you will provide off-hour leadership and serve as a resource for our staff. Your responsibilities will include :

• Supervising and mentoring nursing and support staff during your shift.
• Determining staffing levels and assignments based on availability, abilities, and patient needs.
• Providing direct patient care as needed.
• Assisting staff with problem-solving and floating between teams.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of patient care and addressing any issues.
• Responding to patient care complaints and managing them through established channels.
• Performing role-specific duties such as admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Ensuring staff have the necessary equipment and supplies for safe, quality care.
• Integrating evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Creating an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Initiating weekend case management and assisting with discharge planning.
