Family Nurse Practitioner

Patient care comes first in this practice from the front desk to the nurse station to the Providers. We pride ourselves in "doing our best work everyday" with a smile and consideration of the other team mates. The team is very much "family oriented" as many of the staff members have worked together well over 20 years.

• Full time provider - 36 patient contact hours - 4 hours of admin time weekly
• Team works 4 10-hour days M / T / W / F  7 : 30-5 : 00 with Thur admin day
• 100% Outpatient Practice - No Hospital responsibility
• EPIC EMR
• Call is 1 full week every 12 weeks
• This is a GROWTH position due to growing population and need for care in the area
• Average 18-20 patients per day after ramp up period
• 10% Peds, 90% adult and geriatric
• On-site lab draws, POC testing, telemedicine through Doxy.me
• Basic in-office procedures including women's health, I&D, suturing and some derm
• 1 : 1 dedicated CMA support
• 1 MD and 2 NP's in practice now

Qualified Candidates must be FNP-BC and have a Virginia Practice License.  Practice is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who has been in outpatient primary care for at least 2 years.
