Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily security operations, including real-time monitoring, incident detection, and rapid response to security events.
- Configure, optimize, and maintain key security solutions such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS / IPS, DLP, and antivirus systems to protect our network and data assets.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (FFIEC, GLBA, NYDFS, PCI-DSS, GDPR), and prepare detailed audit and compliance reports for stakeholders.
- Design, assess, and implement security frameworks for network, cloud, and endpoint protection, conducting security audits and penetration testing as needed.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and continuous availability, and oversee timely patch management.
- Perform thorough IT risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop actionable mitigation plans aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex security issues and actionable plans effectively in both English and Mandarin across technical and non-technical teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5-10 years of IT security experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) are strongly preferred.Deep understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements impacting the banking sector.Proven hands-on expertise with firewalls, SIEM, IDS / IPS, DLP, antivirus technologies, backup solutions, and IT risk assessments.MUST be fluent in Mandarin Chinese (speaking, writing, and reading) and English to facilitate effective global communication.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues to diverse audiences.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications
