Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Consultant in Baton Rouge, LA. As a Project Controls Professional at Stantec, you will apply skills in schedule, cost controls, communications, and problem solving in a fast-paced, professional, design and construction environment. The individual would be responsible for providing program and project controls expertise to improve Stantec's delivery of Programs. They may be responsible for managing a staff of professionals and technicians for successful completion of project controls activities. The position will be responsible for program / project controls activities and will support program efforts by coordinating with program management staff.
Your Key Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the consultant team in developing, updating and tracking the Program's costs and schedule, and producing Program reports, as well as maintaining associated systems and tools, including : Assist with Program Controls activities. These activities may include the following functions :
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Understanding of project control concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others. Recognizes when technical problems are developing and initiates appropriate corrective actions. Demonstrated experience in analyzing financial data, cost control analysis, budget development and reporting. Experience with Cost Management services including cost control, planning, earned value analysis, forecasting, report production, cash flow maintenance & change management. Experience with CPM schedule systems and application. Experience with document control systems. Ability to check own work for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule. Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought. Expertise in using Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat, with an emphasis on advanced Excel experience, including pivot tables, formula creation and refining. Experience in Primavera P6 is required and advanced use is desired. Experience in PMIS software, such as eBuilder, PMWeb, Procore, Aconex or similar experience desired. Experience working within virtual collaborative work environments. Experience working on complex multi-discipline infrastructure capital programs / projects. Experience working with collaborative platforms such as SharePoint is preferred.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in financial analysis, budget management and / or project cost and schedule controls.

Pay Transparency : In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
