About The Position

Job Title : Pharmacy Retail Supervisor

Profession : Pharmacy

Experience :

Minimum of five years of professional experience, including two years of management experience.

Minimum of three years of pharmacist experience, with two years in hospital practice preferred.

License :

Current and valid state Pharmacy license required.

Certifications :

BLS certification within 30 days of hire required.

Must-Have :

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, PharmD preferred, including one-year residency.

Description :

Direct supervisory oversight of daily administrative operations is required to ensure high-quality service response and delivery consistent with established standards.

Develop operational and financial outcome measures, tracking systems, and mechanisms for quality improvement.

Implement and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.

Proactively assess program and service effectiveness; consistently pursue continuous process improvement.

Supervise staff development through timely feedback and use of appropriate performance management tools.

Plan and evaluate information and dispensing systems for ongoing efficiency and accuracy.

Manage purchasing and inventory functions for effective inventory management.

Facilitate staff professional growth by assessing learning needs and coordinating learning opportunities.

Prepare monthly progress and operational reports, identifying areas for improvement.

Participate in orientation, on-the-job training, and quality assurance initiatives.

Engage in departmental educational programs to maintain skill and competency levels.

Perform other duties as requested.
