Job Title : Quality Coordinator, RN
FLSA Status : Exempt
Sign-On Bonus : $3,000; no relocation package is currently offered
Location : Senior TLC Center – Hickory, NC
Position Summary : Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager, the Quality Coordinator leads the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement (QI) program for Senior Total Life Care (STLC). Responsibilities include annual updates to the QI plan, creation of quality indicators, data management, staff education, report preparation, and coordination of improvement efforts across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain PACE Audit Universe Data Sets per CMS regulations
- Support regulatory compliance for Service Delivery, Appeals, and Grievances (SDAG)
- Assist participants with appeals and facilitate third-party reviews
- Supervise Quality Support Staff and ensure timely task completion
- Conduct annual QI program review and present updates to leadership and board
- Develop and implement quality indicators and staff training
- Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Participate in state and national PACE quality initiatives
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and submission (e.g., HPMS)
- Facilitate Corrective Action Plans and monitor effectiveness
- Document QI projects and report to leadership
- Set annual performance improvement priorities with leadership
- Respond to urgent health and safety concerns within 24 hours
- Prepare Level II data summaries and Root Cause Analysis reports
- Orient staff and contractors to STLC’s Quality Program
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications :
Education : Current and valid RN license in North CarolinaExperience : Minimum two years in healthcare quality improvement; one year working with frail elderly populationsSupervision : Oversees 1–2 Quality Support StaffPreferred Certification : NAHCQSkills and Abilities :
Strong communication and collaboration skillsProficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Understanding of aging-related behavioral patternsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound judgmentsCommitment to teamwork and continuous improvementHealth Requirements :
Must be medically cleared for communicable diseases and up-to-date on immunizationsMust be able to provide care to adult and geriatric populations
