Urgent Care Veterinarian - 2+ Yrs. ER Exp. Req. or 1 Yr. Internship Training

EPIC Vet Urgent Care a fast-paced urgent care and outpatient ER hospital that was founded by two emergency vets. We are seeking the perfect Emergency / Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our highly collaborative and client-focused team.

We wanted to create our own dream jobs, so we built EPIC! We have spent our careers in the ER but and love doing high quality, fast paced care with great equipment and a focus on lifetime learning. What we didn't love is working overnights and every holiday for the rest of our working lives. EPIC is the place were we can do what we love and still nurture ourselves outside of work.

Working in partnership with a skilled team of doctors and support staff, this is an excellent opportunity for a patient-centered veterinarian with strong communication skills to contribute to a non-corporate, locally owned practice that values growth, flexibility, and the delivery of high-quality medicine.

• Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality medical care to canine and feline patients
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and home care
• Collaborate kindly with a skilled support team of technicians, assistants, and front desk staff
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in EMRs
• Participate in building the a positive and productive professional culture
• Contribute to our culture of learning, mentorship, and teamwork
• Qualifications
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree
• Active New Jersey veterinary license (or eligible for licensure)
• Internship trained or minimum 1-2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a busy clinical setting
• Commitment to practicing gold-standard medicine in a supportive, team-based environment
• Surgical skills preferred, but not required
