Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrinologist to join our dynamic team and health network. This position offers an exciting blend of in-depth patient care, opportunities for scholarly work, and involvement in medical education. The role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while contributing to the growth and development of our endocrinology services. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of professional activities, including direct patient care, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.

Highlights :

• Provide continuous and comprehensive clinical care for patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
• Facilitate transition services for pediatric and adolescent diabetes patients at the MOLLY Center for Children with Diabetes and Endocrine Disorders.
• Support the preoperative consultative service for diabetic patients.
• Assist the Director of the Diabetes Program with inpatient diabetes consultations for medical and surgical patients who do not have an endocrinologist.
• Participate in the equitable 24 / 7 / 365 on-call schedule, including weeknights, weekends, holidays, and vacation coverage, in collaboration with practice physicians.
• Provide seven (7) 24-hour periods of unrestricted hospital call coverage every eight (8) weeks for Emergency Department and inpatient endocrinology consultations.
• Assume a teaching role for medical students, residents, and endocrinology fellows.
• Assist in developing patient care protocols and clinical outcomes to enhance cost-effective, high-quality care

COMPENSATION :

Minimum Starting Base Salary : $208,203

Internal Equity : Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and / or sub-specialty.

Budget and Grant Funding : Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
