SUMMARY
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for complex business process for functional developmental and implementation of information management systems and end user system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide subject matter expertise for successful product implementations, enhancements and/or upgrades.
Review HCCS business process and compares with information management system to determine functionality gaps and works with designated HCCS personnel to identify appropriate changes in the business processes and/or required software modifications.
Assist with software development, including facilitating the exchange between Applications Development staff and end-users.
Responsible for setting up and maintaining all required system tables.
Assist with the development, maintenance and administration of software security system.
Develop appropriate test cases necessary to perform validation testing on all required HCCS modifications, customizations, fixes, interface and patches.
Review information management weekly-published application patches, and fixes and recommends appropriate action.
Work with end-users to identify their reporting requirements and assist with software functionality.
Responsible for system documentation development that will be used in the implementation-upgrades, modifications, customizations, production problem resolutions and training.
Develop training materials and assists, or conducts end-user training sessions.
Off-hour support may be required.
Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or a related field required
- 8 years directly-related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- 5 years’ experience implementing information management systems with progressively increasing responsibility in related subject matter; including 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst working with information management systems in production required
- Experience in a community college environment preferred

Working ConditionsGeneral Office.
