Forklift Operator U.S. Army Equipment Turn-In Site (Contractor)
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in support of Army equipment turn-in operations. This role includes loading, unloading, staging, and moving Army property, repair parts, and materiel while maintaining compliance with Army supply regulations, OSHA standards, and contract requirements. The operator directly supports the property accountability mission by ensuring accurate handling and placement of equipment.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent of a GED is required. Valid state driver's license required. Army OF 346 equipment operator's license required (or ability to obtain). Forklift certification preferred. 23 years of forklift or MHE operating experience (Army or contractor environment preferred). Experience supporting supply, warehousing, or turn-in operations desirable.
Knowledge Requirements
Army supply / property accountability regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1). Proper load securement, safety, and lifting standards. Familiarity with Army documentation and accountability procedures.
Skills
Ability to operate multiple forklift types (warehouse & rough terrain). Attention to detail and strong focus on safety. Effective communication and teamwork in high-volume environments. Physical ability to work in outdoor and warehouse conditions. Must be able to travel within the US when needed. Must have a Real ID.
