Hospice House Aide

The Hospice House Aide provides personal care for patients residing in the Ida Emmerson Hospice House (IEHH).

Applicants must have current CNA to apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provides personal care of patients, including but not limited to, assisting the patient with all aspects of personal care, ambulation, positioning and feeding as required.
• Prepares and serves meals to IEHH patients and performs housekeeping duties.
• Provides support to the family / caregiver regarding personal care and participation in desired activities of the patient.
• Provides administrative support such as answering the telephone and greeting visitors.
• Hospice of Humboldt may assign the Hospice House Aide to any workplace setting based on Hospice of Humboldt's needs including office, RCFE, SNF and the patient's home.
• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, assisting the IEHH Clinical Administrator and / or other Clinical Managers in providing support for the Nursing Department.
