Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : High Risk Obstetrics, Labor & Delivery (6 Doan Hall) Contract Length : 13 weeks Start Date : January 12, 2026 End Date : April 13, 2026 Shift : 3x12-Hour Days (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2050 - $2100 Patient Population : Neonates, Adolescents, Adults Unit Beds : 13 Daily Census : 10 Weekend Coverage : Required Orientation : 36 hours Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a U.S. hospital Active Registered Nurse license (compact RN license or Ohio state RN license required at submission) Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required C-EFM or AWHONN Advanced (NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced) EPIC charting experience required IV start and L&D experience required Previous travel nurse experience preferred Ability to float to other units within the healthcare organization as needed Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Two professional references required (one from a manager, director, or supervisor) Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-risk obstetrics environment Perform IV starts, administer medications, and monitor patient vital signs Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care, including high-risk antepartum patients Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services Float to other nursing units as required to meet patient care needs Maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare policies and procedures Discover Columbus, Ohio : Experience your travel nursing assignment in a city renowned for its lively arts scene, excellent dining, and welcoming neighborhoods.
