Responsibilities Position is located in the emergency department of a Level I Trauma facility Work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Friday through Monday, 10 : 00am to 8 : 00pm Performs CT procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist Handles all age groups including newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Required to use Siemens CT scanners and document via Epic EMR Responsibilities include performing diagnostic CT procedures, maintaining imaging records, following established protocols, and upholding safety, infection-control, and radiation policies The role involves instructing and communicating with patients and their families regarding procedures Position requires maintaining cleanliness and operational standards of equipment and work areas Ability to provide services independently and resolve issues under stressful situations is expected Dress code allows any color scrubs except denim Requirements Active TX license required if applicable Minimum of 3 years CT experience required BLS certification (AHA only), ARRT, and TMB required Experience with Siemens CT scanners and Epic EMR is required Ability to serve as a preceptor and provide quality training to new team members Must provide two professional references for consideration Mandatory flu vaccination required during flu season (August – November) Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618743.
