Billings School District 2 is seeking a Grounds Foreman to perform supervisory and skilled manual labor in planning and directing the maintenance of grounds and related areas. Schedule : 12-month position; Monday - Friday; 7 : 00 a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m. Wage : $24.91 per hour for 90-day probationary period, then $27.68 per hour. Benefits : Fully Paid Insurance; PERS Retirement; Sick / Vacation Days; Full Benefits. Exercises supervision over personnel directly or through subordinate supervisors. Examples Of Duties :

• Assist in planning annual schedules and preparing cost estimates for gardening and groundskeeping operation.
• Direct and supervise the work of several groundskeepers.
• Supervise and assist in watering and mowing lawns, pruning trees and shrubs.
• Inspect plants for diseases and recommend spaying procedures.
• Direct snow removal.
• Supervise training of employees.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• May supervise set-up of special events.
• Responsible for continuing assessment of maintenance program for District grounds and exterior facilities.
• Perform related work as required.
