Dental Assistant-Oral Surgery

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant-Oral Surgery to join their team. As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will be part of the Oral Surgery Department supporting dental residents and students. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong ability to operate standard office equipment, and a commitment to patient care which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Certified Dental Assistant-Oral Surgery

Location : Brooklyn, New York

Pay Range : $28-32 per hour

What's the Job?

Provide oral surgical assistance to dental residents and students.

Assist in the administration of IV sedation and monitor patients during surgical procedures.

Perform tests and assist with preparing dental castings.

Dispense medications and provide instructions to patients.

Ensure safe use, disposal, and storage of chemicals or hazardous materials.

What's Needed?

2+ years of related experience in dental assisting.

Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program.

Knowledge of four-handed chairside dental techniques and dental lab equipment.

1-2 years of oral surgery experience with IV sedation / general anesthesia.

Preferred : Certification as a Dental Assistant.
