About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Academic Programs (CoAP) to lead the development and implementation of a high-quality K-16 program that aligns with the organization's strategic vision and graduate aims. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and upholding the programmatic vision, improving and evolving the school design, and building coherent systems to drive improved learning outcomes and student experience. This role requires a leader who can integrate academics and student supports, establish and refine goals and metrics, and design programmatic infrastructure that ensures coherence across curriculum, assessment, and professional learning. The CoAP will also lead, manage, and develop the program team, and partner with regional leaders to ensure the impact of the program across the organization's schools.
Applicants for the CoAP position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years' professional experience in school and system leadership / management. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in curriculum and assessment development, program design, and pedagogy at the network or district level, particularly in a multi-site context. Experience in driving significant improvement, deep change management, and managing organizational transitions is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to equity, excellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to lead a team in pursuit of the organization's mission and values. Strategic thinking, the ability to analyze large data sets, and a focus on driving from vision to execution are also key requirements for this role.
