Die-Matic is a die design and manufacturing company serving the automotive, appliance, and consumer products industries with progressive dies, line dies, and transfer dies. The company operates over 65,000 square feet of engineering and manufacturing space equipped with 10 presses up to 1500 tons and multiple build areas. Located in Grand Rapids, MI, Die-Matic ensures high operational standards with a QS compliant manufacturing system.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Designer located in Grand Rapids, MI. The Designer will work on creating and refining die designs using CAD software. Day-to-day tasks include developing technical drawings, collaborating with the engineering team to ensure designs meet manufacturing capabilities, and conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing skills
• Experience with die design and manufacturing processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Previous experience in the automotive, appliance, or consumer products industries is a plus
