Responsibilities and Duties
Provide general anesthesia services, including for obstetric cases (including TOLAC) and healthy pediatric patientsDeliver conscious sedation as requiredParticipate in call coverage for nights and weekends as scheduledEnsure compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standardsMaintain a clean malpractice record with no settled or pending casesAdditional Information
Board certification in Anesthesiology is requiredActive Iowa license or IMLC with LOQ required at time of name clearAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required (can be obtained during credentialing)Must be available for at least 2 weeks per month during the assignmentCOVID vaccination requiredNo responsibilities for clinic workNo cases involving hearts or neurosurgeryBenefits
