A day in the life of a Neighborhood Construction Manager (NCM) is fast paced, exciting and different each day as your job is to manage the entire construction process from start to finish. You will be the on-site leader, responsible for all day-to-day operations at your assigned neighborhood, including, but not limited to, quality control, scheduling trade partners and installations as well as keeping the site clean, safe and working efficiently. Most of your day will consist of ensuring trade partners and inspection partners fulfill timely completion of all scheduled tasks along with providing key communication or holding meetings with your homebuyers and homeowners. By doing this, you will make sure each home is built to our quality standards and delivered to our homebuyers on time. On a daily basis, you may also complete tasks like ordering building materials, reviewing, and confirming selections for each home built, while building relationships with the sales, purchasing and construction teams throughout the building process.
Technical tools used daily include DXC Homebuilder One (HB1), Microsoft Office Suite, and Sharepoint.
The ideal NCM candidate is a self-starter, organized and detail oriented, focused on the timely completion of homes under construction.
