Position Overview
The Safety Manager will oversee and enhance the safety protocols within our manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards. The role involves developing strategies to promote a safe working environment while minimizing risks and addressing safety concerns in food manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and procedures related to food manufacturing.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices in food safety and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations related to food manufacturing.
• Proven experience in conducting safety training and audits.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
