Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $3,264 per week in Falls Church, VA

Job Title : RN Profession : Nursing Specialty : CVOR Scrub and Circulate Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 6 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM Hours per Shift : 13 Experience : 3 to 5 years recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases License : Registered Nurse Certifications : BLS (AHA required), CNOR preferred Must-Have : - Must scrub and circulate - Must be able to multitask and apply critical thinking skills - Must understand that overtime may be necessary - Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player - Must participate in professional activities of the department Description : Must scrub and circulate. Primary responsibility will be scrubbing. Required summer holiday coverage includes Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day based on department needs. Required winter holiday coverage includes Thanksgiving or Christmas based on department needs. Any requested time off must be added to the end of contracts for a full 13 working weeks. Experience required in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases. Cases include but are not limited to : - Coronary Artery Bypass - primary and redo - Aortic aneurysms - AVR's and MVR's - primary and redo - TAVR's - ECMO - VAD's Adult experience is required; pediatric experience is a plus. Participation in numerous ongoing research protocols is expected. Epic access is needed. Call requirements include 6 to 10 call shifts in 6 weeks, including approximately one weekend per month. Holiday requirements include one major holiday and one minor holiday based on departmental need.
