Position Summary

INTERNSHIP SUMMARY: Students will be supervised by a Licensed Social Worker at our Excel Branches facility in Arlington, TX. Learn how our facility impacts the community and participate in treatment teams with a multidisciplinary team approach. This is an unpaid internship.

LOCATION: 1111 N. Cooper Street, Arlington, TX 76011

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct Bio-psychosocial assessments
• Discharge planning and identifying resources within the community for aftercare
• Psychoeducational groups and therapeutic processing groups

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program for social work, counseling or other related field and has met the requirements to participate in a practicum/internship
• Letter of recommendation from Practicum Advisor
• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling or another related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Successful completion of background and drug screenings
