We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting and Office Manager to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will manage key financial tasks and support human resources functions. This is a direct hire position with standard business hours, Monday-Friday from 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM. They do need someone with strong general accounting experience and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities :
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
- Close the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll for employees and manage associated tasks such as 401(k) administration.
- Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions to maintain cash flow efficiency.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and other programs.
- File sales tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act as a backup for generating financial reports and assist in data analysis.
- Manage the company's general insurance policies, ensuring proper coverage and renewals.

Proven experience in bookkeeping, including managing accounts payable and receivable.Strong knowledge of account reconciliations and general ledger processes.Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration is preferred but not mandatory.Proficiency in financial reporting and understanding of sales tax regulations.Ability to work with accounting softwareExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
