A regional educational program is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to provide short-term classroom support. This role ensures students continue receiving academic and behavioral guidance during staff absences.

Responsibilities / Duties :

Assist with classroom instruction and learning activities

Support students individually or in small groups based on needs

Implement IEPs or behavior-support plans as directed

Monitor and document student progress and behavior

Maintain classroom structure and assist with transitions

Adhere to school safety and confidentiality policies

Complete fingerprinting and background requirements before placement

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus

Experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in childcare preferred

Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills

Dependable, adaptable, and professional

Willing to complete required fingerprinting

Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
