One of the sites is located at
309 West 23rd Street. Chelsea is a
neighborhood on the West Side of the borough of Manhattan in New
York City. The district's boundaries are roughly 14th Street to the
south, the Hudson River and West Street to the west, and Sixth
Avenue to the east, with its northern boundary variously described
as near the upper 20s or 34th Street, the next major crosstown
street to the north. To the northwest of Chelsea is the
neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen, as well as Hudson Yards; to the
northeast are the Garment District and the remainder of Midtown
South; to the east are NoMad and the Flatiron District; to the
southwest is the Meatpacking District; and to the south and
southeast are the West Village and the remainder of Greenwich
Village. While working in conjunction with several other PCPs and
specialists, as well as administrative staff members, the ideal
candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent
patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we
would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for
Women's Health care and be fully committed to mission of Mount
Sinai Health System.
The 34th Street
District is comprised of 31 busy blocks in the
heart of Manhattan. It is a working district, with over 100,000
office workers coming in daily. It is a gateway to the city for
visitors from New Jersey, Long Island, and the entire eastern
seaboard. It is a magnet for tourists and fans of music and sports.
In addition, of course, it is one of the greatest shopping
districts in New York.
The chosen candidate
will become part of a multi-specialty team in Manhattan. The
candidate must have an interest in working outpatient Gynecology,
including procedures such as colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and
IUD insertion. He or she will work with a variety of specialists to
give the patients the best care.
There
will also be an opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn
School of Medicine. Mount Sinai’s Department of Medicine is
