ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION :

Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and / or mental health disorders.  PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.

We are seeking compassionate, non-judgmental, and highly empathic individuals to join our specialized medical team as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Operation PAR’s Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) program on our NEW Mobile Unit within the community. GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

Provides nursing services to patients in an outpatient, substance use disorder treatment setting. Completes nursing assessments, patient evaluations & screenings, dispenses & administers medications, and provides patients with healthcare education. Works with all members of the Treatment Team to coordinate patient care. Expected 3 months of initial training will be required at outpatient treatment center prior to assignment to mobile unit facility.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must pass a level II background check and drug screen.
