Job specification

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department, responding swiftly to critical situations.
• Perform initial patient assessments, administer treatments, and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Utilize advanced medical technology and equipment to assess and stabilize patients.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

Candidate requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications are preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
