As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for routine patrols at an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment for students, staff, and visitors. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $22.66 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor access points and assist with maintaining a secure environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Work closely with local law enforcement and / or emergency services as needed.

Document and report any observed incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to company protocols.

Remain alert and ready to respond to security-related emergencies specific to an educational environment.

Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal's policies and applicable laws.

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
