Qualifications

Summary of Requirements : GED or high school diploma and Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission Basic Humane Agent Training prior to hire or complete prior to the end of the probationary period. Must possess and maintain an Ohio driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be available to work nights and weekends with little notice. Must be available for after-hours call outs and respond appropriately to calls within a reasonable amount of time. Must have physical and mental ability to perform essential functions prior to hire or prior to the end of the probationary period. Must work with the public, subordinates, peers, elected and appointed officials in a professional manner. Must work independently or as part of a team.
