Certified Substitute Teacher

Pinon Unified School District is currently seeking a Certified Substitute Teacher to join our team. Established in 1984 with just 400 students, we have grown to educate students in preschool through grade 12 at three campuses. We are committed to excellence in education, and we are looking for a substitute teacher who shares this passion.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans left by the absent teacher
• Attend to the physical and emotional needs of students in the classroom
• Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures
• Maintain a positive learning environment for students
• Effectively manage the classroom
• Use appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary
• Communicate with the regular classroom teacher and school administration as needed
