Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support within K-12 schools in Charleston, SC. This contract role runs from January through May 28, 2026, covering a maternity leave assignment with a flexible itinerant schedule across multiple schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students develop strong communication skills and will operate within an established school district framework.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students across K-12.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's communication needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students to improve speech and language abilities.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
• Deliver services primarily on-site, responding to diverse student needs in an itinerant role.
