About the Role

As a teacher at Uncommon Schools, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our curriculum and ensuring the success of our students. We are looking for both experienced and apprentice teachers for all grades and subjects for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years.

• Analyze assessments to measure student progress and adapt instructional practices accordingly.
• Focus on student learning, thinking critically and strategically to meet their needs.
• Create a positive, structured learning environment that upholds our core values and expectations.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth through our annual three-week staff orientation and continuous training throughout the year.
• Participate in grade-level activities and school-wide functions to foster community.

Compensation

The salary for this role ranges from $56,000 to $80,000 . Starting pay is determined by various factors, including relevant full-time teaching experience, education certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools. Candidates without full-time teaching experience will likely start at $56,000.
