Diverse and

POSITION SUMMARY :
Performs complete and diagnostic Magnetic Resonance
imaging studies of pediatric patients for radiologist
interpretation.
KEY
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Produces and evaluates images according to defined
protocols to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of
imaging exams and patients for treatment and plan of care for
patients
Adheres to Radiology specific
policies in regards to patient safety that are established by the
Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, regulatory, and
accreditation governing bodies
Maintains
required levels of education that pertain to clinical, family, and
patient centered care
Protects and complies
with Magnetic Resonance Zone safety possessing knowledge of
restrictions and contraindications; screens patient for
contraindications to MRI and contrast administration in compliance
with ACR guideline for MR Safety
Supports
anesthesia staff in collaboration with Radiology nursing staff to
prepare and monitor sedated patients in the MRI
environment
QUALIFICATIONS :
Satisfactory completion of an AMA accredited
Radiologic Technology program
3 years’ MRI
experience required in neuro, body, musculoskeletal and vascular
areas
A.R.R.T. (R) (MR); Florida Radiography
License; Current Basic Life Support, AHA
Strong computer skills in multiple databases for the
acquisition and manipulation of image data, utilizing 3d,
neuro-functional post-processing workstations, PACS and electronic
charting
MRI contrast administration with IV
skills
Location : St. Petersburg, FL
Shift : Evening Shift; Mon
thru Fri - on-call rotation may include weekends
Status : Full-Time (40 hours
per week)
Salary
Range : Minimum 33.20 / hour - Maximum 53.13 / hour.
Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for
roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In
cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary
discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any
subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate
and any hiring authority.
