Job description

Locum Emergency Medicine Physician Job in Arizona Seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for long-term locum coverage near San Luis, AZ. Job Details :

  • Coverage Date : ASAP - Ongoing
  • Weekend Requirements : Yes
  • On-Call Requirements : No
  • Requirements :

Must be BC EM with Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship; or PEDs with 5+ years current Emergency Medicine experience

  • Must have AZ license and DEA
  • Must have clean malpractice / background
  • Must send self-query NPDB and EPA
  • Must be able to work day and night shifts
  • BC EM Required ABEM or ABOEM
  • Certification Requirements :

    • ACLS

  • BLS
  • Other Details :

    • 60 hours daily physician coverage

  • Physician Shifts : 12-hour and 9-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts
  • Independent Contractor Status
  • APP Coverage : 48 hours daily
  • Annual ED volume of 85,000 visits
  • 75-bed ED
  • 4 PODs
  • Fast Track
  • EMR : Epic
  • Level 4 Trauma Center
  • Dedicated diagnostic imaging suite with Ultrasound, two X-ray rooms, and CT scanner
  • Immediate access to Cardiac Catheterization Lab
  • Level III NICU
