Property Maintenance Technician

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Property Maintenance Technician in Richmond, VA! We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual who is passionate about maintaining and enhancing our properties. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for all residents and visitors. If you enjoy hands-on work and have a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new residents.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and address their concerns professionally.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in property maintenance or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
